Heating and Care Instructions

All Aroma Home products produced from 2006 onwards comply fully with British Standard 8433 for Microwaveable Personal Warmers.

Please follow the instructions below; they are to ensure your safety:


WARNINGS

  • INSPECT THE WHEAT CALICO AT REGULAR INTERVALS. DISCARD IF FOUND WORN OR DAMAGED.
  • CLEAN ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.
  • DO NOT INGEST CONTENTS.
  • THIS PRODUCT CAN CAUSE BURNS. AVOID PROLONGED DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE SKIN.
  • FOR MICROWAVE USE ONLY.
  • DO NOT OVERHEAT.
  • TAKE CARE WHEN REMOVING FROM MICROWAVE OVEN AS COULD BE HOT.
  • This product contains wheat and may not be suitable for a person with a wheat allergy.
  • Consult a doctor before use whilst pregnant.
  • Not suitable for children under 3 years old due to the heating nature of this product.
  • Children should not use a microwave unless attended at all times by an adult.
  • Allow to cool to room temperature before reheating.
  • Only reheat from room temperature.


HEATING:

Heat the product following the instructions below.

  • Place half a cup of water inside microwave whilst heating to assist wheat rehydration.
  • Make sure the turntable is clean and able to rotate freely.
  • During heating, it is important that the wheat is able to circulate freely and heat evenly. Half way through the heating process take the product out of the microwave and flip over. Replace to continue warming for the remainder of the recommended heating time.
  • Do not exceed recommended heating time.
  • In the event of overheating allow to return to room temperature.
  • Heating and cleaning instructions also attached to wheat filled inner cushions.

Additional Heating Instructions for the Animal Hotties (HOT HUGS, Fuzzy Friends, Warm Cuddles):

Remove the inner cushion from the animal cover and heat in a microwave following instructions below (do not heat the animal cover).

After heating the inner cushion, it must be re-inserted into the animal cover with the Velcro securely fastened before use.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • See care label on specific products for cleaning instructions.
  • These products are biodegradable and should be disposed of through normal household waste.
  • Store in a clean and dry environment.
  • In time the aroma may need replenishing, add a few drops of pure essential oil to the wheat filled inner cushion after heating.
